Name: Keith Brower
Alias: "Redbeard"
Age: 35
Gender: Male
Race: Human
Home: West Blue
Appearance: A middle aged man still in his prime, build wise. He is very fit and with a defined physique. He is slightly taller than the average human. He has a large chest coupled with an intense set of abs. He takes great pride and boasts of his appearance and his apparent cream of the crop body build.
He has bright red hair, scruffily brushed appearing as a red bush on his head. His hair is of medium length, just long enough to drench down his back. At the back, the hair appears neatly combed, as his hair curls when it gets longer. He also sports a short, scruffy red beard (hence the name).
He bores an eye-patch over his left eye, underneath a glass eye. A visible patched scar can also be seen in an X shape over the eye, where he lost it in a battle at sea in the Grand Line to a Marine Vice-Admiral. His right, good eye is a vibrant goldenrod. He adorns a three claw crescent shaped scar on his chest, over his heart, that he suffered as a child during his hunting and survival days in his home island. Below his left shoulder on his back, he has a tattoo of a Koi fish curled over a coral bed, a blue and orange flower decorating right side.
He wears a traditional captain's robe over his body, colored red and gold. Underneath the robe, he only sports his own body. He wears loose fitting green trousers with a gold buttoned pattern. A black sash adorns his waist, where he carries his flintlock. He also sports jewelry, composed of rings upon nearly all of his fingers save his thumbs and beads around his neck and down his pants.
Personality: Redbeard is a very manipulative man, and a mad schemer of all sorts. Due to his vast understanding of the human mind, he can more easily subdue them into his bidding by playing his cards rightfully against his opponent. He knows how to subjugate fear into his opponent's heart on a whim, which makes him nearly just as dangerous and influential a man without his abilities in the first place.
Though perceptive, that doesn't mean he isn't an obnoxious, loud mouthed, no-good rotten pirate out at sea only for himself and his crew. He holds nothing back, he seems to lack any imminent attachment to other people, preferring never to get involved in other's affairs as he actually fears being emotionally invested into others. He does what he wants when he wants, having absolutely no sympathy for any enemy on the sea. He is also very wild and barbaric when he gets riled up.
Somewhat paranoid of his opponents, Redbeard is also a very brutal man, who lives by a code, that only after a fight where one person dies or the entire enemy squadron is completely wiped out, does the other remain the victor. He always fights it all out to the death, not very keen on letting others escape. He also doesn't admire those who flee from a fore-coming battle, and will immediately bestow them with a title of shame.
Redbeard's loyalties lie only to himself and his crew, even while withholding the title of Shichibukai. He is hardly loyal to the government, only using the title for his own personal freedom to roam the seas when and where he wants with no government intervention. With these advantages, he is not above using immoral tactics toward his enemies, and will strike where the enemy will hurt the most.

Devil Fruit: Magu Magu no Mi
Weapon(s): A flintlock.
Techniques:
Magu Magu no Mi
Haki
Strengths: Observant and cunning, mastery of psychological warfare, knows the human mind exceptionally well and how to manipulate it. Being a Logia type, he has the major advantages most Logia users have, intangibility, nearly invulnerable to all types of physical damage (save advanced Haki users and Kairoseki). Mastery over Magu Magu no Mi. In great physical condition for his age, very maneuverable even without his DF.
Weaknesses: Wild and savage, very subject for turmoil when things don't go his way. Arrogance knows little bounds, relying heavily on his DF, which can easily catch him off guard since he is not accustomed to dodging attacks. With only one good eye, his vision is nerfed. A very horrible drunk, alcohol should be counted as a crippling weakness, since he uses it a lot.
Fighting Style: Prefers fighting in close-range with an opponent, but can go long range with even more devastating area of effect techniques. Very nimble and quick on his feet, he loves taking an opponent by surprise, waiting for the right moment to strike. He is accustomed to tanking regular hits, since most people can't phase him anyway, leading to a scare tactic and game of confidence.

History: The man later known through his life as the notorious Redbeard, was born as Keith Brower in West Blue. He lived on an unknown island inhabited by powerful beasts. Very few people inhabited the island, around 50. Hunting was a very common tradition on the island, most people were constantly competing for the kill.
Keith himself was taught how to hunt by his father. He took extreme delight in the thrill of the hunt. He was a part of a group, consisting of four boys (including him) and a girl. It was rare for women to hunt, so she was ridiculed, but eventually they come to accept her as their leader after she kicked them into a pulp on several occasions, and on account of her calm, calculative, and blatantly viscous demeanor. Her name was Velvetta, and she was Keith's first, and only, love interest.
Over time, whereas the other boys in their group were terrified of her, yet admired her for her extreme expertise in hunting and leadership style, Keith was fascinated in her. Whereas she was upstanding, yet viscous when the time beckoned forth, he was rambunctious and a "coward", which was frowned upon, not to mention his petite frame, only his head and voice were big. Despite these facts, Keith attempted to make many advances on her, mainly at night, or when they went on a hunting trip together. Every time, he was coldly shot down. It eventually got to him, struck him enough times where it started to leave a scar, that always burned. He was persistent. He began working out and training his body at the age of 11 to shape himself up, always feeling he was coming behind to the other boys who were either bigger, badder, smarter, and faster than him, not to mention Velvetta, who was at the top of the chain in all of these feats. He was tired of always coming last, and wanted to change that and finally make a difference, instead of constantly relying on the others, especially Velvetta. Soon enough, it would come to discover that, in time, his primitive instincts would completely take over, which would lead to a night of sweat, tears, blood, and regret.
Two years later, at age 13, Keith had gained a much more defined physique. He had gained muscle mass in places he wasn't sure he had. As the hunting and survival days lingered on, he began to shine more in his group. Velvetta was surprised, but still treated him as inferior, as she still felt he was weak willed, despite a strong physique. One day, when the other boys in the group were separated from the group after a major fall in the woods, Keith and Velvetta once again found themselves together. In the center of the woods, he suddenly shoved her violently and persistently against the tree, holding her by her shoulders, he declared he wanted her to be his, that it was time to finally prove his worth to her. She shoved him off, calling him a psycho, she slammed him down with her crafted polearm. As if completely overtaken by acrimony, he tanked all of her hits, even with a bruised and battered body, he advanced forward, pinning her against the ground, where he would begin his indefatigable assault, no longer contemplating any of his actions, he was only going by his instincts and doing only what he had longed for. She would find herself to be nearly overwhelmed by his brutish onslaught. While the two fought for dominance over the other, a pack of beasts advanced forward, charging them both and assaulting them while off guard, surprisingly crafty. While their guard was lowered, Keith was deeply slashed in his chest, painting the ground an ominous red. Velvetta attempted to fight back, but was struck down by already being fatigued and caught at a time time. She suffered a bite directly down her shoulder to her ribs. Luckily for their sake, the other three boys in the group arrived, fending off the beasts before they could do any more mischief. Keith and Velvetta were immediately taken to the hospital wing on their island (merely a hut) where they received medical care.
After that incident, Keith was kicked off of their group, Velvetta never looked him in the eyes again. He beat himself up everyday after that incident, completely angered with himself he had stooped so low. It was his fault they were attacked and almost killed, causing a great deal of panic at camp. It was at this time he would accidentally stumble upon a peculiar fruit. It was stored in a basket of fruit, which stood out oddly to Keith, he had never seen a fruit like that on this island. He decided to try it out without thinking, and ate it. It was horrible, the worst fruit, or any food, he had tasted in his life. The bitter taste it left in his mouth was just awful, completely regretted eating it. At least, that was before he realized just what it was he ate; a Devil Fruit, the Magu Magu no Mi. The day after, he had completely become a magma man. For his new abilities, the people on the island were somewhat appalled at first for his monstrous abilities, but accepted him in time, due to the usefulness his new abilities possessed. With the Magu Magu no Mi at his disposal now, forever a magma man, he was considered invulnerable, and the ultimate hunter on the island, cooking the meat himself as he captured the beasts. Despite this, he still didn't have what he wanted, he still felt empty, and still felt like an utter loser.
Two years later, when he was 16, the island was attacked by a group of Fishmen pirates. They immediately claimed the island was theirs, and were merciless against any struggle. Even against Keith, they were prepared, the captain attacking him with a Kairoseki staff. While captured, he assessed the pirates, looking for any sign of vulnerability and weakness. Velvetta appeared before him, sneaking past their guard as the pirates made their advancement onto the island, waking up Keith. The two decided to team up once again, as everyone else was down. Together, they managed to overthrow the pirates, yet Keith wanted to take things a little further. He hopped on their ship after he had sunk them all into the bloody ocean, and hijacked their ship. Velvetta attempted to stop him, but told him he was leaving the island, he was a loser there, and after being explored to the life of a pirate, he wanted to try it out in order to explore the world. When Velvetta decided to stay with the group, he apprehended her, forcing her to come along with him, taking her in a vile act of exploiting her love and compassion for the people of the island. It was here that once again, Keith's true nature would begin to rise upon the surface, and this time, Velvetta was forced to follow him into the sea as his attendant, and unofficial First Mate.
As now official rookie pirates, soaring a new Jolly Roger above their ship, they began to venture West Blue, recruiting many future pirates along the way. Keith even struck down numerous pirate fleets and forced the survivors to either submit to him or sink into the sea with no hope of survival. Using fear and intimidation tactics, eventually overcoming the style he was taught to use by Velvetta, he took it to extraordinary heights. Because of his traumatic experiences in the past, he was extremely paranoid. Despite pledging loyalty to him, with a single act of insubordination, he would send his fellow nakama overboard, and laugh maniacally as he did it, flinging his flintlock in the air like a madman. Velvetta even became intimidated by him in time, and was often forced to submit herself to him on several occasions, having literally no way out of doing so besides death. Keith's true nature was finally shown, this man cared nothing about human lives, compassion, friendship, "nakama", any of that bullshit, he just wanted power, to rule over the seas as his own man, and simply loved the feeling of glee and joy when his manipulative means came to a decisive result in his favor. Velvetta was the only person on his crew he legitimately cared about at first, only using the others for his own vile means, but even she was afraid of him.
On account of their fear of him, they decided to plot a mutiny against their captain. When they entered the Grand Line, they would throw him overboard. They attempted this, but Keith caught one member of the crew, Squirts, and declared if they all didn't subject to him, he would use this man as an example, his body beginning to transform into magma, slowly coursing over him, consuming and melting him there as everyone could only helplessly watch. Being a Logia user, they found virtually no way to overcome him, as his paranoid nature already put him on guard. How the hell were they going to be rid of him? It seemed hopeless, but none of them were happy being a part of the newly appointed Redbeard Pirates, which is where Keith first got his alias on the Grand Line, Redbeard, after sinking a notorious pirates' ship, and wrecking his hometown, turning an entire island into a chromatic lava-induced cinder island.
The Redbeard pirates would eventually come to the fight of their lives, which would really give Redbeard the reputation he has earned today. His bounty already 180,000,000 beri. He arrived on Sabaody Archipelago with his crew, where an all-out assault ensued by a pirate captain with a bounty of over 400,000,000 beri. Redbeard and his crew were caught in the middle of the scuffle, where Redbeard mercilessly fought through the enemies with his now mastered Magu Magu no Mi. During the fight, one of the three Admirals even appeared on the island to subdue the nature of the brawl, which is where Redbeard lost his eye, and also lost over half of his crew, including Velvetta. Redbeard went on a rampage in search of her, and would eventually take a trip to Impel Down, where he would make it to level 5 before he was subdued by the Warden. He did manage to break free, yet empty handed.
Because of the incident on Sabaody Archipelago, his demeanor somewhat mellowed out, yet he still retained his wild and rambunctious nature, he became somewhat more tolerant and trustworthy of the crew he had left. It was during this time, an open spot in the Shichibukai caught his attention, where he accepted the role, receiving freedom to roam the seas when and where he could. Redbeard now roams where he pleases, spending most of his time in the New World he has yet to fully explore, scaring off new pirates and causing havoc and chaos just because he can.

Devil Fruit: Magu Magu no Mi
Weapon(s): A flintlock.
Techniques:
Magu Magu no Mi
- Magma Punch - Most basic and most used technique of Redbeard. Redbeard transforms his arm into magma. Redbeard will propel his magma fist forward to the target to burn/melt them and anything in its path.
- Magma Kick - Essentially the same setup as Magma Fist, except with his leg and a kick.
- Lava Burst - By conveying the entirety of his body as an embodiment of magma, Redbeard will propel himself forward at high speed, like an actual, concentrated volcano blast. He can also use this to travel underground by melting the underground beneath him as he maneuvers.
- Grand Eruption - Redbeard transforms his fist into pure lava before throwing it forward like a rocket, gaining intense size and capacity. The explosion causes volcanic rock to hit the ground, in a method similar to meteors.
- Volcanic Shower - Redbeard unleashes a salvo of magma shells into the air, causing them to all rain down on the field, as if appearing to fall from the sky. Has a very wide area of effect with the potential to burn and smolder to cinders an entire battlefield.
- Lava Stream - Produces a giant flowing stream of lava which enrages and encamps the battlefield scorching most to cinders, with the clear intention of surrounding those inside with no way to escape.
- Hell's Barricade - Creates an upward surge of magma, layering around Redbeard of selected target(s), covering the object in a wall of protective magma.
- Brimstone Cinder - Redbeard lashes toward the opponent, propelling his body as a volcano. Using his quick agility he will simply attempt to bypass, or phase the opponent while transforming his entire body into magma. Due to his manipulation over his magma body, he can increase the size of his body as well. This technique has the potential to turn human remains into ashes, hence the name.
- Diablo Bayonet - Redbeard lashes forward, transforming his arm into magma, launching his arm through the target by melting through. On a human target, this is used to scorch and melt the person's organs from the inside out.
Haki
- Mastery of CoO, to the point he can see a "premonition" before an attack on him hits within his mind's eye. He relies on this heavily during fights.
