Akumei kicked back in her chair, feet resting on her desk. She irately sighed, "Oh, don't get me started on that," Akumei bitterly replied, showing no interest of burying her tantrum. She rested her hands behind her head, growling.
"So," she began rather quickly. "It was boring at first. He tried to teach me about patience and meditating... or something like that," Akumei shrugged. "We had a spar, it went well, it was fun, granddad and I were pretty even. But after we were finished..." she looked up at the ceiling, her eyes clearly showing vexation, and somewhat despondent. She put on a tough front. "He had the nerve to tell me I had failed. I seen it in his eyes though, he was really upset with me. Or well, maybe upset is the wrong word. More like disappointed." Akumei dramatically sighed. Akumei was a people person and had a goal, even need to please everyone around her, though she was constantly reminded this was impossible. Whenever someone was saddened or disappointed in her, she was sensitive, it hurt her more than others.
She was more than contempt with conversing with her adviser about any of her personal matters. They had long since been reacquainted since the incident on their squad years ago. "But why do you look so down? You tried to hide it when you came in, but something is on your mind," she raised her brow, sitting back up in her chair sloppily. "What is it?"

Kakutsu pretended to be interested and generally sympathetic in Akumei's speech about her training session, and about how grandfather had failed her. Big deal, it was a training session. Kakutsu nodded and let a genuine look of sympathy cross over his face.
"I'm sorry to hear that, Tsuchikage-Sama." he said, grinning warmly. Akumei then proceeded to ask him why he was glum, and he swallowed, thinking for a moment. "Tired." he lied, smiling lightly. "I had a late night working. I was filing everything." he said, pointing to his desk which conveniently was covered in completed work. He nodded casually, "Yeah, I should probably save this work for days like this when nothing is really going on."
Kakutsu looked to the window, then back to Akumei. "How's your work coming along?" he asked, pretending not the notice the obvious piles of work still left on her desk.
