KirigakureKnown for their bloody past and rather incredible output of sadistic shinobi, Kirigakure is not one of the most popular villages. Although in alliance with most of the villages, they are perhaps the most watched out of all of them. They are surrounded by lakes and oceans, a keen force in both military and shinobi output. A constant mist is always present in and around the village, hence it's name. Current Mizukage: Kazuo Shimada

"Um... I think this is the right place?" a young, slender brunette kunoichi absent-mindlessly deviated through Kirigakure's western border in search for her destination, an animal shelter. It should have been fairly easy to find as she passed the sign on the center of the walkway on more than one occasion. Directionless as always.
The kunoichi wore a berry red short jacket with a white fur design in the back that only was just barely enough to cover her breasts, exposing an ample amount of her stomach. The jacket was unzipped, revealing a plum bra with a rosy flower-like design supporting her breasts. On her back, on a scarlet sheath, was a finely crafted katana, and her primary weapon of choice. She sported denim-style black shorts with a white buckle, her pouch resting on the right side of her hip. For legwear she wore a purple stocking with the same white fur at the top which came up to her mid thigh. She wore purple heels. Others often commented on her choice of attire in Kirigakure, being with the chill, damp, and misty climate, but she always made the simple claim she loved getting a little wet.
This kunoichi was Kanata Hidamari, and despite her appearance, she was actually a member of the Seven Shinobi Swordsmen of the Mist, sworn to protect and serve the Mizukage with her life. She had offered her life to him without a second thought. For all of her life, she had intended to reach this status, and doing it at such an early age meant the village recognized her talent, she was happy and content, she wouldn't hesitate at all to accept any task or mission her Kage required of her.
But even the big dogs stray away from home sometimes. Occasionally, she preferred going out and acquiring some missions on her own, and more often than not, for her, the D-rank missions ultimately proved harder than the A-rank, or at least more frustrating. Kana was never one to lose her temper though, always picking at the positives and staying afloat. Whatever the mission, she always seen it as an adventure.
Even if she was returning a dog to an animal shelter. The dog, on two occasions, slipped away from her sight (she didn't think to pick him up at first, the second she slipped on thin air and fell on her butt), and ran off, resulting in a short skirmishing chase throughout town, turning many heads and causing a few upheavals of laughter, as once they had charged straight through a cabbage stand, the owner cried out in anguish at his loss.
Regardless, she had finally completed her mission. Oddly enough, when she left the shelter, she walked out holding a different dog. She decided to take a detour home before reporting to the Mizukage, surely he would be awfully proud she had accomplished a D-rank mission, but she still had to turn in her report, and even that was probably going to upset him somewhat. Hopefully by now, he would be used to Kana's carelessness. She wasn't counting on it.
Kana approached the Mizukage office, easily allowed access inside due to her status. She merely waved with a smile as she walked by all too familiar faces, and masks for the guarding ANBU, and skipped toward the door. She didn't take the time to knock or anything, she walked straight in, escorted by two ANBU. She merrily advanced for his desk with a bright, lustrous smile that complimented her complexion very well. She was often complimented on her smile.
"Mizukage-sama, I'm back, and with a full mission report!" she joyfully said, walking up to his desk. She placed her hands on her hips, looking down at him brightly. "Ready to be proud of me? I completed my mission!" she said, only giving this report three hours later, while most adequate Genin actually finished a mission like this in less than an hour and a half.

Shimada Kazuo... in his 3 year tenure as Mizukage, he had brought upon great change in Kirigakure, working his hardest to ensure it became not only one of the most powerful villages amongst the 5 Great Nations, but also one of the most well-respected. Though he had kept the village largely to itself in this time, he still maintained all the various treaties he had created before and during the Azure Devil incident, as well as leaped into action to aide them when they asked of his assistance. In his time, Kiri had become known as a strong, respectable, independent nation... and that's the way he liked it.
Today was one of those rare days where he actually didn't have any paperwork to sift through, no political bullshit to deal with, no crises within the village that required his immediate attention, no requests from allies for any assistance... a day to himself to relax and reflect, to enjoy a little time outside of the office, to walk the village, to mingle with all the people he considered his friends and allies, all the people of Kirigakure. As of right now, he stood upon the large crescent-shaped balcony outside of his office, the large glass doors swung open so that the gentle breeze of the cool and humid Kirigakure air flowed through the building and brought some much appreciated fresh air into the otherwise cramped quarters he spent the majority of his days in. It was so... serene. Peaceful. Closing his eyes, he took in the scent of the salty ocean air and drifted into a moment of pure bliss...
...Aaaand then Kana's voice obnoxiously pierced the serenity, the Mizukage's eyes snapping open as he nearly stumbled and fell in surprise. Normally he was more attentive to his surroundings and wasn't one to be snuck up on, but she managed to stumble into his office *just* as he was getting lost in his thoughts. That girl's timing...
Truly, she was one of the more eccentric kunoichi of Kirigakure, but she had proved herself on more than one occasion, and held the Mizukage's respect. Sure, she could be a bit annoying at times, but he found her eccentricity to be more amusing than actually bothersome. "...You really should knock first, Kana. I understand that's not really your style, but..." He began, shaking off his momentary shock to turn around and face one of his esteemed Seven Shinobi Swordsmen.
"I see... I assume you've got a full report with you, then?" He inquired.

Kana giggled delicately when the Mizukage's train of thoughts crashed coursed. It was rare to catch him off guard, of all people, she had an impeccable timing. She found it somewhat cute, actually, that he appeared so serene and calm as opposed to his usual serious-face self.
"You betcha~" Kana stood at the entrance of the balcony, her wide, gentle smirk adhered to her face. "Nana has been successfully transported to the animal shelter." Along the way, she decided to name the dog. "There weren't... many problems." her face suddenly shifted, looking away briefly. "Just a dismantled cabbage stand, that's all. I even saved you one, and I adopted a dog, if you want him." That explains why she walked out of the shelter with another dog. "He's really cute!"

((You never specified the type of dog it is, so I'm just going to automatically make it my favorite dog =P))
"..." A dismantled cabbage stand? Why was it whenever she took missions within the village, she ended up causing some sort of mayhem? She was like a Genin kid, in that regard... brilliant in battle, but geez, when it came to the small stuff? Perhaps he should stop letting her take those kinds of missions. Now he had another apology letter to send out. Oddly enough, to the same cabbage merchant she'd managed to trouble last time. He must've had some luck, that guy...
Turning his focus now to the dog she was offering him, he eyed the doberman pup with some interest. They were a rare breed, around these parts, actually... but they suited him rather well. Lord knows he could use a little companionship, too. Cooped up in his office most of the time, he never really got to see many people. A pet would be nice company, he thought. "Ah, thank you..." He replied, not really sure what else to say on that subject.
"...Anyway, I really do think you should just stick to the battlefield... that's where your real expertise seems to lie." The Mizukage suggested. "As it stands, you already owe quite a few people some apologies, do you not?" He asked. "Either way, well done... I guess." Well, she DID finish the mission... sort of...

Kana sighed. She figured he wouldn't be happy having to send out yet another apology, and knew too well she was honestly horrible at doing the low rank missions, even if they were fun, albeit more destructive than the A-rank. The Mizukage's reactions she actually found fairly enjoyable, and knew he never took it personally and never belittled her for her less than graceful experiences. That wasn't what bothered her, it was the comment about her battlefield expertise that left a bitter taste in her mouth. She swallowed slowly as if trying to gulp down the taste, avoiding eye contact, twirling her brunette hair with her right fingers. She hated talking about that, but not talking about it would get her nowhere.
"I understand, Mizukage-sama," Kana said, her face low, displaying her grief. She looked up with a melancholy gaze. "I like taking these small missions though," she tilted her head, attempting to uncover the right words. She wanted to ascertain what exactly she wanted to say, without sounding awkward, as she usually did when she attempted to speak of this subject.
"Whenever I go into the battlefield, I get scared," she said, choking up slightly. She definitely didn't want to cry over this in front of her Mizukage. "I never remember anything. I don't know what I did, or what I could do. I don't know what's to come when I go in, I don't know what happened after I'm out. It just... it honestly scares me. The fact that I just don't know what's going to happen." she looked up at the Mizukage, her eyes expressing a deep affection, which was what she was going on about. The Mizukage assumedly would know she was referring to her 'other' personality, the void persona that came to light automatically whenever she entered a battle, any battle. She lost all sense of her original personality, and became a killing machine only bent on following orders, letting nothing stand in her way, putting the mission before anything else. It's why many didn't like partnering with her on higher rank missions, but others loved this side of her personality, and the past Mizukage, Rasetsu Kuroidon, and even Kazuo to some extent, used this side of her for the greater good of Kirigakure, which she could be proud of, but not if she didn't know what she did. It's where her nickname, "Merry Death," derived from, for her two split personalities that were polar opposites.
"I would gladly put my life on the line for you, and this village, Mizukage-sama," Kana said, meaning every word. "But I'm sure you understand why this scares me... but I don't know what to do." Once again, she had to mentally kick herself, she did not want to cry or show this emotion in front of the Mizukage, but she had to tell him. Kazuo was known for his experienced, almost ageless wisdom, which is why not only for his title, but him as a person she would be willing to open up to him.

Kazuo listened intently as Kana spoke. It was clear this was very personal, and something she didn't say often to much of anyone... for all he knew, Kazuo could've been the first. As the Mizukage, it was his duty not only to lead and protect his people in times of war, but to help and empower them in times of peace, as well... and this was one thing he thankfully appeared to excel in. "I see..." He opened in response, rubbing his chin with his thumb and index finger, eye closed, as he thought for a moment. Honestly, he could relate to her... they weren't terribly different. After a moment of silence, he opened his eye and looked resolved. What was he thinking...? Closing and locking his office door, he inhaled deeply and began to speak to the SSS kunoichi in front of him.
"...Allow me to show you something." The Mizukage began, placing his hat onto his desk as he put his hands together as to form a set of seals. "This is a technique I have shown only to my closest advisers and body guards, in case it ever came to be that the seal and all the power that it holds back needed to be released... or re-activated. As of today, I am entrusting it to you, as well." Five seals - Hare, Tiger, Ox, Dog, and one seal which appeared to be entirely new, an inverted Serpent of some sort - were performed, and chakra began to visibly coalesce around Kazuo's left hand.
Moving his hand over his right eye, as his glowing hand made contact with the patch which covered it, the scar that appeared to extend above and below it disappeared and various seals began to appear over the entire upper right portion of his face. "I'm sure you're aware of my Doujutsu, the Tentai Me?" He asked. It was Kazuo's own unique doujutsu, the first of its kind in the world and one of Kirigakure's most prized weapons... few ever got to see it in action, but it was something of a myth within the village walls.
"For many years now, I have led people to believe that what I've demonstrated in the past is all there is to the Tentai Me, that I lost my right eye in battle, and that I only obtain 3 wings on one side of my back because I only have one eye... but this isn't necessarily the case." He explained, the seals that had appeared seconds earlier now disappearing, retracting back into his patch as he removed the covering from his eye, which was still visibly closed.
"There are actually two sides to my ability, representing the two sides of the karmic scale - Good, and Evil. Light, and Darkness. An angel from heaven, and a demon straight out of the pits of Hell." Opening his eye at this point, the Mizukage activated his doujutsu, one eye changing to the light blue and yellow that was known to the shinobi populace, three ethereal yellow wings forming on the left side of his back, while the other eye - his right eye - changed to a dark red and white, with his sclera also seeming to shift color from white to grey. Simultaneously, the right side of his face took on a far darker appearance, what looked like a horn beginning to protrude from his right temple while his flesh looked to become thicker and more scale-like, slightly twisted in its shape.
From here, a crooked halo formed over his head along with 3 more wings - these ones dark red in color as opposed to light yellow - and the tinge of the chakra that was coming from his body was phenomenal. Though it would never permeate the walls of his office, even for non-sensor nin, it was hard to miss it. "Whenever I would tap into the power of my right eye, I would ultimately end up losing control over myself. As we speak, it is taking all my strength to maintain a rational train of thought, and prevent myself from falling into the bottomless abyss of power and madness it draws out from deep within me." He explained.
"Like you, there is another side to my personality... one I cannot fully control, and try my hardest to avoid. For years I have tried to suppress it, to limit the damage it can ultimately do, and for the most part, I've succeeded in that. To this day, I can't really control it or the effects it has on me, and I'm forced to limit it in whatever way I can. That's why I created this seal, to suppress the power of this eye and the uncontrollable bloodlust it brings out from the darkest corners of my mind. To those who have seen the full extent of my power, I have come to be known as the 'Two-Faced Celestial'... it's not too far off from the truth." Performing those same 5 seals a second time, he grabbed his eye patch and put it back of his eye, the Tentai Me deactivating and the power slowly sinking back below the surface as those same markings again spread out over his face.
As the doujutsu was completely deactivated, once again, the markings disappeared, and picking up his hat to put it back on, he carried on with what he was saying, done with the demonstrations for now. "...But as time went on, I came to realize that though I may not fully understand this side of myself, it is still me. I cannot run from myself, or lie to myself, as much as I may wish I could. I cannot truly hide from what I really am, what my power really is. All my life, I have done nothing but suppress it, bury it, pretend it didn't exist. I have feared it. I have feared myself. But this is no way to live one's life." Kazuo sighed.
"You and I are fairly similar. There is another side to your personality, one which you don't fully understand, one you can't control. Like myself, you have no idea what you're doing while it is in control, and you have no idea what you did when it subsides, and this scares you. But you can't run away from who you are." Kazuo sighed. "In my case, instead of trying to learn how to manage myself and my powers, I denied an entire half of my existence. Now, as I'm finally starting to learn to try and harness its potential in a more controllable way and not allow it to take me over, I'm starting to regret never having faced myself in the first place. I regret not having accepted who I was from the beginning, flaws and all." He continued to explain.
"As we all have, I've made many mistakes in my life. I've chased countless paths to countless dead ends, and lived in a constant state of fear and anger. A ticking time bomb, a man on edge, paranoid and distrusting, surrendering himself entirely to his work and becoming a faceless tool of his village not because I wanted to be, not because I was good at it, but because it was easier. Because this way, there didn't need to be a 'me'. I didn't have to make decisions. I didn't have to try and come to terms with the realities of who I was. Out of fear and anger, I gave up on trying to find harmony between these two sides of my power and these two distinct manifestations of my personality, and eventually, this fear and this anger became all I knew, and though this HAS changed, the scars of this time still remain and impact me to this day." As the Mizukage continued his story, it was becoming more and more apparent that he, also, wasn't holding anything back. For once, he appeared to have actual emotion on his face, and in that singular left eye that the whole shinobi world had become so accustomed to seeing only coldness and duty sleep within, there appeared to be a wide-open window into his soul.
"It wasn't until I met wise swordsman from Kusagakure some 10 years ago that I realized the error of my ways. Despite thinking myself unstoppable, he subdued me in a single move, and told me something that has stuck with me ever since: 'If you cannot understand and rise above yourself, then you can never understand and rise above the world. For if you cannot conquer yourself, if you constantly live in fear of who you are, then you will never know what it means to truly live, and you will never know the true meaning of peace. For peace is not something found in the world, but within oneself, and a man who lives his life denying himself peace shall know only pain and defeat all the rest of his days.'." He paused.
"A house divided cannot stand, Kana. Never forget this. You may not feel as though you can ever control this side of yourself, but I believe that you can, and pretending that it doesn't exist is never going to help you achieve that. For more than 30 years, that's exactly what I did. I thought I could never control the power of my right eye, and yet what I just showed you today was a feat the likes of which I never could've dreamed of accomplishing even 3 years ago. Since that chance encounter 10 years ago, I have finally begun to come to terms with that other side of myself, and I am finally learning to control it, though for right now, I still have to suppress it with all these seals and lies, at least until the day I can truly say that I'm in complete control. But, for once in my life, this seems less like a dream, and more more like a reality... a distant shore that this old and weary sailor yearns to one day wake to." Finished with his little speech, the Mizukage put his hand on Kana's shoulder. He felt that he understood what she was going through. Though the reasons and the mechanics may be different, of all the people in Kirigakure, he could understand her the best. On some level, he'd been there.
"The reason why I'm telling you all this is because I understand, Kana. I don't know why you have these two personalities, or why your mind switches between them... maybe it's subconscious. Maybe it's a defense mechanism. Maybe it's something you do of your own accord, and you just refuse to admit it. I can't tell you that I know or understand why things are the way they are, if it is just fear and nothing more or something deeper, but I can tell you that I've been there before. The reasons may be different, but I have been there. And more than that, I can tell you that you will never achieve anything by running away from this side of yourself and trying to avoid it or pretend as though it doesn't exist, because it does. And until you learn to control it, it's likely always going to haunt, torment and divide you, depriving you of any true peace, security, or self confidence... and that is no way for anybody to have to live their lives. You can run, or you can face your fears and try to take control of yourself. It's your life and your choice, Kana... choose wisely." With that, Kazuo returned to silence. He hoped that she understood what he was trying to say here... he wasn't very good at this sort of thing. But he really did feel he understood her, and by telling her his story, he prayed that she would understand him, as well, and that she would be able to relate to him.
She had to be able to believe in herself, or at the very least, believe in the Mizukage who believed in her. She had to overcome all her fears and her worries. She had to. To constantly live in their shadow... he just couldn't bear to watch somebody else go and do that to themselves.

Kana listened to Kazuo as he began. With the initiation he was going to show her something, she had no idea what to expect. When the bolded seals began emerging on his face, she observed intriguingly, her breath caught in her throat when his eyes converted, wings sprouted from his back. The authentic aura he gave off was overwhelming, to say the least. It could possibly be felt for kilo's in the village, but being right there in the office with him? She nearly lost her breath, she stumbled back as she seen the true 'monster', the other eye of Kazuo Shimada, the half he hid from the rest of the village, and the world. She was flabbergasted, nearly blown away. She clutched her hand on her chest when he finally released his chakra, retracting the seal on his eye. Had she seen an angel, or a demon? She had no idea, a minister of twilight, was what it felt more like to her. She had never known this side of the Mizukage before, seeing it now, or having the privilege of seeing it now, was astonishing. She was scared, even more than before, but she was honored. He was getting personal too, she could feel it.
She attempted to keep her composure, but she was sweating up a torrential downpour. Her nerves were all in whack, but when the Mizukage began his speech, she listened intently. She threw away all of the intensity she felt in the pit of her gut, endured, ignored it to listen to what her Mizukage had to say. Eventually the feeling completely subsided as he finished, placing a comforting hand on her shoulder, he started and finished strong. Wow, he really did understand her. Although their circumstances were different, virtually they were the same. They both had an inner demon they're trying to fight, only one had more experience than the other, and was passing down advice to his subordinate. The fact that he actually understood her, had been there, personally knew what she was going through, made the speech all that more powerful and alleviating.
Kana bowed. "Thank you, Mizukage-sama, r-really." her voice cracked up again. She always thought she was so different, so weird for being the way she was, some freak who was only useful for village missions, putting the mission before anything else, a trait most wish they had, but she felt cursed to have. She looked up, her eyes watered. "It means so much to me, what you've just said," she reached up, embracing him for a moment, without his consent or not, she wasn't really thinking about it, just got caught up in the moment. She briefly buried her head in his chest, sobbing lightly. She stepped back. "I'm- uh- I apologize." Kana said, releasing the bright complexion smile she was known for, halfway known for. "I'll take everything you've just said to heart. I.. I won't run away from myself anymore. I will tackle it head on, even if I have to conquer it...." she stood up tall, attempting to stand completely confident.
"That's my new Nindo."

Kazuo smiled warmly, hugging the young kunoichi as she brought herself closer to him. She was struggling to maintain her composure, but that was okay - it meant that she understood, and that she'd finally be able to make progress. It took Kazuo many, many years to arrive at the point she just had. Now that she was resolved, he had no doubt that she would be able to some day surpass him - perhaps even sooner than either of them realized. Only time would tell.
"I'm glad." He responded to Kana's new nindo, still smiling. "You're still young, and a member of the world-renowned Seven Shinobi Swordsmen, and I have no doubt that you'll be able to soar to even greater heights from here on out. The potential of the next generation is always limitless, and I look forward to seeing you develop from here on out, not only as a better version of yourself, but also as a testament of Kirigakure's *true* strength to the rest of the world. Military power is all well and good, but it's finite, as opposed the power of an individual who has mastered themselves and resolved to make their every dream a reality. It's not the strength of a shinobi's abilities that define a nation, but the strength of their hearts. Never forget that."
As Kana stood resolved, Kazuo was confident that she'd be an even better person than she was before, now. He was genuinely happy. "I believe in you." He finished.

Kana nodded with a bright disposition. With the Mizukage's words of encouragement, she felt better as a person, and would try to no longer run away from herself. She understood that herself was just as big of an enemy on the battlefield as the opposing team, and until she could either completely accommodate with who she was, she couldn't make any more progress than she currently had not only as a kunoichi, but as a person, it was essential. It was the only thing holding her up. Though she felt relieved to hear the Mizukage's wise words, she still had a long road ahead of her, but she was willing to travel the whole way.
"Thank you for believing in me." she said, out of admiration and respect. "I won't let you down, my comrades down, or myself down."
As Kana turned out of the door, she knelt down, petting the doberman puppy. She turned back up to the Mizukage, picking up the dog. "You always stay so busily cooped up in this office, it's a wonder you see the light of day. How about a companion? Will you accept him?" she looked down to the puppy, whom was staring at Kazuo with those googly eyes. Kana gracefully smiled. "I think he likes you, too."

"I'm glad." Kazuo began, genuinely happy to see such a large change in Kana so quickly. Truly, like this, she would be unstoppable. As she suggested he take the puppy as his, he smiled. "Indeed... I could use something of a companion, couldn't I?" He rhetorically asked, motioning for the pup to come to him, which it did.
Whether it be as a companion and a friend in the office or in battle, he'd raise this dog as his own. "Thank you." He bowed as the kunoichi turned to leave the room.

Kana smiled, nodding and bowing once more to her Mizukage. She turned and left the room, confident she left the puppy in the right hands, and happy with herself that she managed to at least give the diligent and busy Mizukage a warm smile on his face.
--- A granite rift ruptured through the space-time continuum, creating a simple hole with a very jagged outline, swirling with a mass of gray chakra. A humanoid figure stepped out of the hole, leaping into the fine wooded floor. He took a deep breath before opening his granite eyes. Before his senses could fully develop, he was struck by a polearm. "Aaaagh shit! What the hell is your pro-"
When he turned around, he saw an angry, nearly 7 foot tall maid sizing him up, and running him down, holding a giant polearm nearly puncturing the rooftop, and in her other hand, a spiked chain ball, all of that accompanied by a determined, nasty scowl on her face.
"Erm, wrong house."
Rasetsu sat at local ramen shop, a bandage wrapped on his head, an even nastier scowl on his face. So, he still didn't have total control of where the hell he was going when he used the Onyx Void from a distance. The last time he goofed with that, he fell from a tree at 10m height, making sure to hit every damn branch as he fell down to the cold, unforgiving ground.
"I come back to the village after two years, and nearly get beaten by an angry, 350 pound housewife. What the fuck, no, I'm not surprised, at all." He drank his ordered sake, forgetting to leave a tip on the counter. While everyone else in the shop appeared afraid or admired of Rasetsu, the store owner didn't fear him whatsoever, and dared to call him out.
"Excuse me, sir, you forgot to tip."
"No, I didn't forget. I'm out of change. Or better yet, for that awful service, if you'd rather blow me for compensation, then come talk to me." Rasetsu walked off, head up high, hands in his pockets, the arrogant disposition displayed immaculately. The shop owner narrowed his eyes.
Rasetsu knocked on his house door, and while doing so, pulled out a kunai lodged into his arm. He stretched it casually as he dripped with blood, awaiting for yet another scolding from his loving wife, but hopefully this one didn't involve sharp objects that could maim him. He was getting really sick of those. Or maybe she would just hug him, he was hoping for the latter.

Inside of the Kuroidon household, a loud snoring could be heard bouncing off of the walls. It was from none other Misaki Kosui, who looked like a hot mess, for a lack of better words. Her long, crimson hair was completely dishoveled and spanned randomly around. Misaki's body was sprawled across the bed, with one leg hanging off of the side. She was almost unrecognizable.
It had been a rough day at Kirigakure's hospital. A young genin had gotten caught in his own ninja tool trap. It nearly took an hour just to get all of the shuriken out alone. She was exhausted, and now there was an incessant knocking at her door. She stood up slowly, wiping the drool from the side of her face. Misaki took slow strides to the front door, opening it abruptly. "Who is it?" Misaki said groggily, wiping her eyes with the back of her hand, not paying attention to was at the door.

Rasetsu looked down at his wife, the woman he married and sort of ditched for the last two years. No hard feelings, right? Rasetsu threw the kunai that was embed into his arm aside, and looked down intently at Misaki, her face appeared as if she had been drinking for three days and nights straight, a faint blemish of drool on the side of her mouth, her brilliant, sexy sapphire eyes were now groggy and dazed. Rasetsu looked around once, as she hadn't noticed who it was, and even if she did, was she even awake? Well, it was worth a shot.
"Got any bandaids? Or give me some medical jutsu crap." Rasetsu asked somewhat assertively, holding the fresh wound on his arm, still leaking a little blood.

As soon as Misaki heard the word 'bandaid', she groaned loudly. "I just got off of work, dammit," she grimaced, continuing to wipe her eyes. When she finally finished and managed to look up, she stopped in her tracks. Well, look who it was - her long lost husband, Rasetsu. Misaki lifted up her arms halfway, just enough to show her hands begin to glow a neon green. She lightly placed her hands over Rasetsu's wound. In literally a few seconds, it was completely healed. There was a reason she's now one of the head medics.
Misaki reached up to her husband, lightly tracing his cheek with the tips of her fingers...then proceeded to slam the door in his face.
